Coconut macaroons are significantly easier than their counterpart, the French macaron. Both still require well-whipped egg whites, but macaroons have a larger margin for error while still being gluten-free and dairy-free. With a fluffy, slightly chewy, slightly crunchy texture, these crowd-pleasing cookies are great for tea time or big parties.
