When autumn winds come a-knocking, it’s time to get baking! These Easy Sugar-free Baked Apples make the best of fall’s best produce. While this is a simple way to show off the natural sweetness of apples, it’s also easy to make the recipe your own. Consider adding chopped walnuts or pecans for a nice crunch!

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Remove apple cores, leaving half an inch of core at the bottom of each apple to prevent leakage. Prick apple skins with a fork and place apples in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Melt margarine or butter in a small saucepan, then stir in Stevita, ground cinnamon, apple juice or water, and raisins or dried fruit.
  4. Stuff mixture into apples and bake in oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Let apples stand for a few minutes and spoon any escaped liquid back into apples before serving.
