Sweetened almond milk is a great dairy alternative that’s low on calories but still nutritious. Try using this recipe in your next bowl of breakfast cereal or oatmeal for something a little different.
Makes 5 cups.
Cooking time: 2 minutes, plus overnight soaking
- Soak almonds in 4 cups of cold water overnight.
- Combine soaked almonds, water, and Stevita in a blender. Purée the mixture on high speed for 2 minutes. Refrigerate unused portions; keeps about 5 days.
